Diasporans Making A Difference & How Has Your Culture Shaped You? Featuring: Ikechi Nwabuisi

Ikechi Nwabuisi joins Ndidi Love in DiasporAfri’s first ever double interview! Ikechi is a tech founder, entrepreneur, social media influencer, visionary, & participant in TechStars Seattle 19’! He employs a dynamic team of all Black & Brown people from various diverse parts of the Diaspora. I was so excited to interview him about his vision behind TRiBL: an innovative, groundbreaking new app that connects the Black Diaspora all over the world. The vision behind the app is so eloquently described by Ikechi in this interview where he even discusses the journey to his success, & the most important parts of his culture that shaped his success. My favorite line was when he stated, “Success is a series of painful failures… people need to have a safe space to fail, & fail hard”; that line has stuck with me to this day, a whole month and a half later! You’ll also be so inspired by the many gems he dropped in this interview.

When I first discovered the TRiBL app in November 2018, I was extremely excited as I had the previous week been looking for an app such as this, then I got a couple of comments on my IG posts from the TRiBL network, & decided to explore what the TRiBL network was all about! I quickly discovered that DiasporAfri met a match! A fellow visionary using our gifts to bring the Global Diaspora together. Since then, I’ve made new friends on the app, had daily group chats, and made some meaningful connections with Black people from all parts of the world! I encourage all to download and discover your tribe near you! Or far, but the app will bring you closer 😄.
