DIASPORANS MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Today I’m featuring my friend Lyly and the wonderful business she’s formed, called, AfriQelle. This jewelry is one of a kind, I should know, I have two beautiful pieces that I purchased myself ☺️.
AfriQelle is vibrant one-of-a-kind jewelry, home décor, art, and bridal accessories that are enriched by a large collection of traditional and contemporary beads, stones, metals, textiles, shells, leather, and an array of hand-picked materials.
Lyly is the creator of afriQelle jewelry and art. Since her early childhood, Lyly and her mother have been collecting unique materials during their travels in Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
afriQelle’s unique, globally inspired, and handmade products are infused with the creator’s family love for diverse cultures, aesthetics, and styles.
Lyly is passionate about international development, Africa, the environment, traveling, dancing, and of course – jewelry and art. In the near future, using proceeds from sales, afriQelle plans to partner with women’s groups in Cameroon to provide training and employment opportunities for women in jewelry- and art-making.
Check out afriQelle’s website www.afriqelle.com and follow afriQelle on Instagram and Facebook @afriqelle to see some of her creations. Place your orders and custom requests at firstname.lastname@example.org.
