As the founder of NativSol Kitchen, Tambra Raye Stevenson is leading a new initiative called WANDA: Women Advancing Nutrition Dietetics and Agriculture to empower women & girls to lead and create healthy communities.
The 2014 “Nutrition Hero” by Food & Nutrition Magazine was featured as a 2014 National Geographic Traveler of the Year, her passion of finding her Fulani roots in Niger and Nigeria propelled her to promoting health of African heritage foods.
Her work has been highlighted by the Washington Post. She has been interviewed by WPFW-FM radio, Cuisine Noir Magazine , WHUR-FM radio, BellaNaija.com, NBC4, BlackEnterprise.com, EmPower Magazine, Huffington Post, Sirius XM Radio, NBC Nightly News, BET.com, and TheRoot.com. She has written for She Leads Africa, and quoted in Food and Nutrition Magazine.

She has spoken at FHI360 in South Africa, University of Cape Coast Medical School in Ghana, Young African Leaders Summit in Ethiopia, U.S. Library of Congress, U.S. Department of Agriculture, W,K, Kellogg Foundation, American Public Health Association, and National Association of Black Journalists.
She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Tufts University School of Medicine.
